About

The database Digital Music Anthology “Euterpe” is a digital collection of songs for educational use. It was developed by the collaboration of the Greek Society for Music Education (G.S.M.E.) and the Music Library of Greece “Lillian Voudouri” of the Friends of Music Society, within the ISME-Gibson Award 2012 Project. In the database “Euterpe” one can search songs that are presented in music notation software finale or musescore and are accompanied by useful music teaching and musicological remarks. The collection includes traditional Greek and non-Greek songs, songs from historical sources and music anthologies of the 19th and early 20th century, and contemporary songs.

Special thanks to the composers, poets and publishers who kindly offered the rights to use use their works for educational purposes of the Digital Music Anthology "Euterpe".
