Recitation of the lyrics of the poem and discussion on its meaning (the destiny of Greece, the destiny of the people, the emphasis to the female element through the three axons mother -Virgin Mary-homeland, the light of love). Teaching-learning of the songs and expressive singing of the song according to student's opinions. Exercises on the 6/8 (3+3) meter Practice on the strong and down beats of the meter through body percussion. Performing the song on a melodic instrument by ear or through score. Accompaniment of the song on the piano, guitar, etc. preferably by students. Familiarization with Odysseas Elytis' collage: observation and discussion on the synthesis, forms, images, material and themes. Artistic creation with collage technique by students with reference to the lyrics of the song (group activity): students in groups of 3-6 discuss their ideas, decide on the content of the collage, look for material and proceed to the final composition. |
